Information Technology Dept. (IT)

The Information Technology Department oversees the management and maintenance of all computing devices, including computers, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, telephones, audiovisual equipment, and network systems across various facilities including the Town Office, Public Safety, Lura Hoit Pool, Edythe Dyer Library, Skehan Recreation and the Public Works Garage. Our team ensures that all systems are kept up-to-date with the latest patches and adhere to industry-standard security protocols. Additionally, we provide support for various software programs utilized by all town departments.

Our primary objective is to enhance productivity by minimizing downtime through the implementation of a reliable, up-to-date, redundant, and secure network infrastructure that complies with legal and regulatory standards.
